We are on the hunt for a serious numbers person to join our closely-knit team, somebody we can trust to help us improve our internal operations, keep the business humming and provide insights and guidance to our teams. What can you expect to be doing:
You’ll be knees-deep in the following areas:
Accounts Payable/ Receivable
Tax payments & compliance
Helping us design and implement new processes
Supporting the team to grow their understanding of the finance function.
Skills, Experience & Education
Must have a business or administration degree and an accounting background.
Professional accounting designation an asset.
Must have 3-5 years accounting experience
Must have an understanding of the fundamental aspects of business, including operational and financial.
Highly experienced in Excel.
Experience with Xero and Xero Payroll an asset.
Comfortable using web based systems and tools.
Ability to analyse data and produce insights.
Experience with (or an enthusiasm for learning) tools like PowerBI a bonus.

This role will be based in our Christchurch office, so being based in New Zealand with the right to work here is key (NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa).
Full Time: Part Time
We’ll confess to having a bias toward considering this role as part-time (in the 25-30 hours a week range ).
